Aron's Adventure has been released on Steam. The game sports a rather actiony combat system, low poly art style, lots of pretty colors, weapon choice, a multitude of critters to slay, puzzles, and all sorts of other things to find along your journey through the land of Elor. Here's a trailer and a bit of the info:

As you get better at fighting enemies and as Aron grows stronger, more difficult weapons become easier to use! Difficult weapons may offer you a chance at more damage but they also require you to time your dodges and roles better while keeping a solid grip on your stamina!

Dozens of different grunts that will challenge you in different combinations. Big boss fights and mini boss fights, every region will throw multiple challenges at you to overcome! From small spiders to zombies and even a dragon!

I didn't see a hang glider. Where's the hang glider?

That doesn't look bad, but 25 EUR for a game without actual textures might be a wee bit steep.

Still looks more interesting than games like the Witness and SUPERHOT.

Agree when it comes to superhot, but the Witness is a different matter.

The amount of planning, thought and creativity that has gone into creating the island and the locations is insane. Not even talking about the puzzles themselves, just the environment and how it ties together with the meta-game inside the game.

Not referring to this particular title, I'm just talking hypothetically that the texturing method/visual style doesn't have anything to do with how much a game is worth.

Why there is the same 3D assets package for many of the recent indie games?

That's the price you pay for having an accessible game development platform like Unity. The good is that you get more people making games, which should lead to new ideas, new mechanics, and so on. That said, the bad is that since not everyone can model and texture things, you get assets from the asset store in a lot of the games.

Looks like a decent Zelda clone. The character can roll, jump, and double jump extremely far though. Between those, the run speed, and the dash type attacks--it doesn't appear that the enemy has a real chance at harming the player.
