With thanks to the <A href="Http://www.blackisle.com">Black Isle</a> love goddess, <b>JE Sawyer</b>, <A href="Htttp://www.interplay.com/fallout">Fallout</a> fans may now rejoice since there is now a <A href="http://fallout.blackisle.com">BIS Fallout page</a> complete with the release of <A href="http://ftp.interplay.com/pub/misc/fo2mapper.exe">Fallout 2 Mapper</a> and documentation in both <A href="http://fallout.blackisle.com/Fallout_Editor.doc">word format</a> and <A href="http://fallout.blackisle.com/Fallout_Editor.pdf">Acrobat format</a>.

<br>
Of course, there's also the <i>threat</i> of more <i>Fallout Bible</i> releases as well, so take the good with the bad!

Thanks to <b>Briosafreak</b>, <b>Red</b>, and <b>Axel</b> for sending me info on the release.

I really think more thanks should be directed towards Chris Avellone. This was his pet project if I remember correctly from my days back on the old Black Isle Studios' message boards. Best Fallout related news in a long, long time.

EDIT: Nevermind, guess it was JE's idea from the start.

Yeah, JE Sawyer actually came to #fallout many, many moons ago and pitched the idea of getting us those editors.

Oh well I got it, now to crash my computer a few hundred times, get frustrated, and go back to playing Spider Solitare :P

This may be my wild opinion here, but I think JE is a hardcore FO fan at heart. I think he is the only one left at BIS that gives a rat's ass about the franchise.

I'd be interested to see a design doc for a Fallout CRPG from JE Sawyer, just to see what his idea of the setting is and what he'd do with it. I think the idea of an alternative future based on 1950s sci-fi about an aftermath of a holocostic war based on World War 2 would appeal to him, since he seems to like history.
