With its release date approaching, Nacon have begun promoting Big Bad Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong again. Last month they released a sixty second explainer video and a longer dev diary in which lead quest designer Eliott Hipeau outlined the game's design goals as a narrative RPG. Today IGN got their hands on a new gameplay trailer which offers the most extensive look at Swansong yet. Each of the game's three protagonists has their own role to play in the investigation of the attack on the Boston Camarilla, with a large emphasis placed on maintaining the Masquerade. A gameplay trailer for Swansong is also scheduled to appear at the next Future Games Show event on March 24th. It's unclear whether that will be this trailer or a new one.

The more I see of this game, the less interested I get. And how demoralizing it must be for this studio to be working on this after they kinda showed promise with The Council. Working on tired and damaged brands for ungrateful Swedish people who are currently having trouble topping a rushed PC RPG from 2004.
