Game News Battle.net Under Attack!

<a href="http://www.blizzard.com">Blizzard</a> reports that a Denial of Service attack is currently being perpetuated on <a href="http://www.battle.net" target="blank">Battle.net</a>, the favorite multiplayer game hosting service for Diablo, Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3, that is causing the server to crash by some people who aren't terribly interested in winning any awards for being nice.

Blizzard <a href="http://www.battle.net/forums/battlenet-status/posts/wi/230.shtml" target="blank">states</a> that users involved in this malicious act will be banned, and their associated characters and accounts promptly deleted.

Well, I do play plenty of Diablo 2, so it really bugs me that the games are so lagged now that I get killed. Damn.

I only used it a couple of times. I'd much rather just Direct IP it.
