<a href="http://www.geocities.com/pyrrho12/programming/gearhead/">Gearhead</a> has been updated to <A href="http://gearhead.slp.pl/">version 0.701</a> for those interested in the big stompy robot style rogue-like. Here's a list of the changes:

<ul><li>New "personal" quest.</li><li>New RPG tutorial.</li><li>Combat messages are much more informative.</li><li>New map generator.</li><li>Repair skills now require repair supplies.</li><li>PC can join the Guardians, and joining the military has been made simpler.</li><li>Musical instruments have been added.</li><li>New doors and props to interact with.</li><li>Four new skills: Performance, Weight Lifting, Mysticism, and CodeBreaking. Certain skills may now be used on props.</li><li>As always, numerous bugfixes and minor improvements.</li></ul>

Also, there's an early version of the SDL graphical interface version of <a href="http://www.geocities.com/pyrrho12/programming/gearhead/">Gearhead</a> available from <a href="http://gearhead.slp.pl/">Piotr Leszczynski's download mirror</a> for those who'd like to see a glimpse of the future of where this is all going.
