Get a standing desk
Which is actually good advice for everyone, it's a game changer.

If I were in this situation I would just play Path of Exile 2 for a month. Controller works very well.

If you got back pain from squats you should spend some time watching videos about proper form instead of playing games, or pirate the Starting Strength pdf, it's autistic as fuck and goes on dozens of pages about every minuscule detail of every lift. Also you can unironically cure back pain by doing deadlifts. It's a forbidden knowledge, the back doctors don't want you to know this.

And whatever you do, DON'T play Dark Souls II, they've completely ruined it with patch 1.10.

You guys are amazingly unhelpful assholes.

Maybe take him at his word and suggest some good games?
On the first point, granted.

On the second point, and in fairness, the OP did ask a very difficult question. It's like saying, "Hey guys, can you recommend some good soups to eat with a fork?"
