GameSpy, in an effort to milk as much as they can from E3, offers up their awards from the show. Well, at least, they offer up eight pages of micro-previews in order of importance per their opinion. Up today are games ranging in importance from 25th down to 11th place.

Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines comes up in 20th place:

Fargo: Delsyn, your vampire analogies suck (rim shot.) But I completely agree about the range of emotions. Troika has put a lot of care into crafting the dialogue here, so the interaction with NPCs is as colorful as most Vampire novels. And the graphics were strong. Gothic, twisted, clever ... I can't understand why there wasn't a bigger crowd around this booth. I guess they were upholding the masquerade....

There'll be plenty of time for crowds later. The game was just announced.

Personally, I really destest this preview rating stuff. All this award giving is getting out of hand. That a game can win multiple times in a row, turns out like shit, and still posts those awards on its homepage (NWN) is enough reason to pack these awards in a nuclear waste barrel, seal it shut and dump it in a deep part of the Northeast Pacific Basin.

Next they will be handing out awards to games still in designing phase, based on artwork, a screenshot or two and an interview by the designer.

I'm still amused by Team Fortress 2 getting Best of E3 back in 1998. Five years later, it's still a no show.
