Jonric: Among the huge number of spells that will be implemented in Greyhawk: The Temple of Elemental Evil, do you have a couple of favorite individual ones or combos?

Tim Cain

Project Leader and Lead Designer

I always will love Magic Missile. It's my favorite spell - it always hits, there is no save, and it scales with your level. But I have been playing a cleric in our pen and paper games in the office, and my cleric loves to cast Divine Power (gain attack bonus, strength, and hit points) on himself and wade into combat. Add a few nice combat feats, and you can make the Ultimate Cleric Fighting Machine(tm). Oh yeah, he can heal too.

This is why I've always liked Cleric as well. They can fight, they can heal, they can buff, they can smite. What's not to like?
