Shouldn't some other metal be used to describe this then "gone gold" gone copper perhaps, or gone zirconium.

Or if it doesn't have to be a metal gone arsenic would be highly appropriate.

Sodium works for me. It's highly explosive in it's raw form when near anything with moisture, and it can cause high blood pressure leading to heart disease. Despite all those dangers, it still manages to sound mundane.

One would think Pyrite to be the obvious choice.

Look at it, isn't it pretty...

I remember seeing a picture somewhere at a factory, which had a sign saying "Warning! In case of sodium spillage, do not contain with water." I laughed my ass off.

Still, sodium is tame compared to caesium, or potassium.

Well, no reason to get into another NWN flamefest...

Well, maybe one more.

I have a friend who asked me whether or not I was going to buy NWN II when it hits the shelves. I pointed out that he hated the first one so much that he didn't even finish it. "Oh, but how do you know that NWN 2 won't be different." "That's a chance I chance I'm willing to take." Some people never learn that it's not wise to throw good money after bad.

Heh. That's sad. The time NWN came out coincided with my "coming back" into PC games, after a period when I got nothing new. So I bought it, along with lots of other lackluster titles at the time. I do not plan to donate my money to Bioware ever again unless I see at least 5 people in this and similar forums praising a title of theirs. Fuck magazines and webzines. First Black And White and now NWN. Fuck them in the EAR.

Well, if I hear good things about the game from people I trust, I will probably try the game. I'll give it a fair shake and look for reasons to enjoy it. In fact, I usually find something about most games I buy to enjoy. Then, should everything else fall into place, I'll come back here and give my take on both the good and bad aspects of the game. Of course, you don't know me from Adam, but there will probably be other folks doing the exact same thing and you can take in all the posts to help make a decision.

I'll tell you now, it has to do something wildly better than it did with NWN 1. Furthermore, I'm not getting the expansion pack at all. I don't even have any of my three copies of NWN on any of my computers and I have no intention of reinstalling it.

Now, I know Astromarine already covered this, but you have THREE COPIES OF NEVERWINTER NIGHTS?! I wouldn't even buy three copies of a good game! Why in God's name did you buy three different copies of that... thing?

Simple, I buy games for the destitute masses who are my friends. I have a lan here and I bought copies so my friends could come over and play. Ah, but here-in lies the rub with NeverWorking Nights: my friends just didn't like it. It was a big let-down. Worse, I have sinned grievously in convincing some of my friends to buy the game sight unseen. Now I am more discerning in my judgement about a game that has not yet been released.
