The Devil Whiskey site has been updated once again, including info on pricing, a linux version, and more. Here's part of the FAQ page they have on there:

Q: What do you mean by "turn-based"?

A: Put simply, we mean that no action will occur within the game without the user being a part of it. Time doesn?t pass unless the user is interacting with the game, combat is based on a set of decisions about character actions and proceeds on a turn-by-turn basis. We believe this older technique allows for a much more relaxing and enjoyable experience when playing these types of games, and several of us have greatly missed this type of game in recent offerings from the major publishers.

It's kinda sad when questions like this are needed, though.

I just had a look at the site for the first time, and now I'm kind of interested - does anyone want to hazard a guess as to what the download size is going to be?

There's been interviewers where BioWare has said that KotOR would be turn based, just like NWN, so really.. When you have BioWare people claiming their games are turn based, is it that odd of a question?

RPGCodex silly!
After all, at the end of the day, what really matters is how many bullets you can put on the back of the box.

I hadn't thought of that; that's a good point.

Geez did Bio really say that? I guess the question should really be asked of them then: "what do you mean by turn based? There is nothing turn based about your games"
