1Up has done up(note the rhyme) a review of Hordes of the Underdark, giving it a warm, tingly 8.5 score. Here's a bit on bantering:

Minsk and his mighty gerbil Boo entertained me for nearly 60 hours in Baldur's, so I scathingly disapproved of the omission of any real intra-party conversation in Neverwinter. Though the sets aren't nearly as entertaining as those our friend the bruising maniac offered, they still add a much needed new level of relationship between those two henchmen on your team and yourself. Unfortunately, speaking doesn't imply intelligence, and they still aren't all that bright.

Yeah, got to love things like that. It's just so cool when you're about to rush in to a door to save a certain crazy archwizard from the evil forces only to be stopped because your half-orc barbarian feels the need to tell you he's claustrophobic.

This guy was entertained by an NPC who implies he shoved an hamster up his ass? For 60 hours? It wasn't funny the first time. I'm guessing he likes bestiality.

I really hate the fact that the Minsc/Boo combo is so popular. :x

If you're entertained by Minsc and Boo for more then Five minutes, you're pathetic, upwards of 60 hours, just kill yourself, It'll save you the time and energy of explaining to people why "Gigli" was really good and you dont understand why it got such a bad rep.

Plus it might have the side benefit of raising the gene pool up a few notches, if enough Minsc/Boo lovers end their sorry existances.

That is, of course, coming from someone who sepnds his time on message boards arguing about games and also playing said games.

Yes, but behind the names that I talk and sometime argue with are real people at all times writing responses to my posts. Not some made up character in a homoerotic relationship with a hamster. And I surely do play lots of games, not just RPGs. But I cannot think of one character in any of the games that has entertained me for a cumulative time of an hour much less 60 hours. If I ever spent 60 hours talking over and over again with an NPC in some game just because I found it entertaining, that is the day I would hope someone puts a bullet in my skull so I can move on to my next life.

Last I checked, no NPC has managed to enthrall me for 60 hours, so I am not in need of that bullet yet. But thanks for the offer. It brings a tear to my eye knowing that someone is willing to go out on a limb and commit murder to help a fellow gamer. *sniff*
