Eh, that price is about ten dollars more than I'd want to pay, but what the hell, indie developers need the money and the demo was amusing, I'll bite.

Hopefully this game will eventually feature multiplayer -- the game is practically begging for it.

The limited time low price thing is still hillarious. What's the business system, add 10$ to the price tag every 20 days?

I'm propably not going to buy it, since the demo didn't work for me (I was the only one who had problems though, afaik). If anyone else had graphic corruptions, I'd like to know if the full version solves the problem.

Expensive? That's about £15 which even I, as a lifelong cheapskate, don't consider particularly expensive for a good game. It's not cheap either tho, so it's worth being sure you'll enjoy it for more than a handful of hours before purchase, and there's a demo for that purpose.

I agree that the 'limited time low price' is pretty WTF, especially with no further details.

More expensive than AoD, more expensive than Spiderweb games (which I consider good), more expensive than some great games at Manifesto... still, less expensive than some shitty $50 titles.

Dude, because of the VAT and your various economic oddities, you're not in the same conversation as everyone else (in the US at least).

Normal brit price for pc game: £35
Normal US price for pc game: $50

I'll leave the math up to you but, £15 is much more a "budget" price for you than $30 is for me.

I think I had the same problems. Absolutely everything flickered uncontrollably for a few seconds before the game just crashes. Anyone heard of a fix?

This game does look rather interesting. Trying out the demo before I make a purchase. $30 isn't so bad, at least for me. So, if it has the unique gameplay that I have read about, and is fun then I will def consider.

An Action-RPG-Strategy game, interesting. Maybe the actual action elements won't seem as worthless sense it's all done for your city! ;P

Section8, the flickering is on spot, exactly what happened in my game. It did non crash, however - still absolutely unplayable. What kind of graphics card are you running?

That worked like a charm.
There are no more grahpical problems present in my games. No idea how a messed up mouse cursor influenced the whole screen to that degree, though. Thanks for the help, maybe it would be a good idea to move the hardware cursor options and add some advice about how changing the option may help with gfx corruption.
huh?

23,80 Euro? Definitely a reasonable price. I pretty much liked the demo but hell, that game is addictive. Might be a good thing but not if you don't have time to play games during the next 3 years or so.

I have an nVidia 7900GT, which should be doing wonders for the game, not fucking its shit up.

They can charge what they want, I won't buy it because I am not into Diablo clones.

Story of my life, ugh...

I also have a 7900GT and I've noticed that they only ever released maybe 5 different driver revisions for it. I've tried them all with different results in different games. I think it's the most unsupported video card ever released by Nvidia. They released one in July of this year that seems to combine its driver with more of the older cards(it used to have its own unique one), so that may be worth a download.

While it does have those elements, it offers completely different styles of gameplay altogether. So, if you even remotely liked Diablo, this one may be interesting to you.

I thought we fixed this by having you turn off the hardware mouse cursor in the options?

I just said this above, but try turning off the hardware cursor. In the demo it's hidden in the game options, in the full version it is in the graphics options.

While we are mostly an action RPG, we've added lots of elements (especially the covenants) to not be just another Diablo clone. There are plently of those already.

For an indie game, if it were $20(or less), I'd just buy it to support them, but I'd never pay $30 for an indie game. I've got plenty of ARPGs to keep whatever interest I have in that sort of game held for the moment, in addition to my sticker shock, so I'll be passing on this one.

I'm really amazed at how relatively high prices for what amounts to a garage game are accepted in Europe. Are Europeans just that desperate for some sort of new ARPG? IMO I'd think that $40 or whatever equivalent that Two Worlds is going for now would be a better investment anyways, cheezy voice acting and all.

Enjoy it! It's not very often that you get anything computer/video game related for cheaper than us.

We did?

ooops. I was pretty sure that I had messed around with those settings to get PS:T and FO1 running, but actually completely forgot about getting this game to run again. Strange, really, I guess I'll download the demo again and see what happens.

Europeans are stupid, that's what. Well, everybody is stupid for that matter, so no problems. All problems solved.

Fantastic, that worked for me. Will have to have a more serious play tomorrow.

Cool, glad it's working now. Yeah, there are a few systems that just don't like the hardware cursor stuff which is very strange.
