Good point... :D

Enjoy it! It's not very often that you get anything computer/video game related for cheaper than us.

Ain't that the fucking truth! It's never more true than for IT books, often they're more pounds from amazon.co.uk than dollars from amazon.com! I've no idea how this continues year after year... but then Economics bores the shit out of me.

I bought it and I am quite enjoying it. No deep conversation trees, no story but a very very interesting blend of a strategy/diplomacy game with a quite good if not truly excellent Diablo II type game. Graphics look quite nice in high resolutions and it has that "i'll just pplay a little longer" element to it. Skill system is quite interesting and for those who like it, DOP takes item gathering in an action RPG to the next level. It is really quite and excellent game and the strategy elements and cometing NPCs add just enough different flavor to make it worth it. Maybe not the poster child game for RPG Codex, but a very very good game and worth the $30 for anyone who enjoys Action RPGs.

Hey, there is a storyline in the game, it just gets overshadowed by the dynamic world and the covenant gameplay. :)

Also, for those that haven't bought the game yet, we released a new updated version of the the demo at http://www.soldak.com/content/blogcategory/28/65/
