<A href="http://www.rpg-project.com/">Tales of Trolls & Treasure</a> has released <A href="http://www.rpg-project.com/pages/down.htm">0.40 Alpha</a> of their modular RPG project features some treasure and most likely some trolls.

<blockquote>In the Tales of Trolls and Treasures RPG-Project you will play a group (or party) of four characters. Each of them will have his own abilities, attributes and equipment. Like in other role playing games, your success will depend on the composition of your party. It will make no sense to play a party consisting only of melee combatants, neither it will make sense to play four magicians only.</blockquote>

And why the hell wouldn't it make sense? It just means you have to have multiple methods of doing quests for those unbalanced parties, which would be a nice replayability bonus, wouldn't it?
