Vault Dweller sends news that the Iron Tower Studio has opened its very own forum. In case you don't know, they're the people behind Age of Decadence, the low-magic high-brow post-apocalyptic RPG that's going to be released on Thursday. Sometime in 2008, I hope.

Check out for example this thread to see how certain locations have evolved during the game's development.

Best luck to your project, Vault Dweller!

Add some spice to the news.

Change the colours, Vault Dweller, the pitch black thing isn't fun to navigate through (and it reminds me of counter-strike gamer forums).

Have what my way? You are confusing game development forums with a news/reviews site.

You can have those wonderful discussions and quotefests you enjoy so much. You already seeded every forum area to encourage the kind of discussion you want.

I think it's a great idea, personally. Best of luck to you. I hope it suitably hearkens back to the old days for you.

By the way, I'm not looking to quote back and forth ad nauseam... please use the ego sparingly this time.

I love the look of the new place. So dark and severe, yet tasteful I think. It's good we A.O.D. fanboys have a devoted forum to read and post in now. I have wanted this for quite some time (I been here about a year).

As opposed to all those other things you can do on forums? Oh yeah, Pete-bashing one-liners.

VD, you didn't open those forums just because we had been naughty boys, did you?

He most certainly did. The Codex forums scare away potential customers.

Judging by the discussions, it seems he seeded them with what a lot of people wanted.

Sad thing that's out of VD's (and would be out of anyone else's for what it's worth) control is that the place already has several "fanboys". I could spot such posts of three of them with just a brief look in a thread or two. Considering that fanboys usually tend to be morons, I don't think VD would pull a "quote-fest" with anyone on Iron Tower forums either. It would nice to see that I turn out wrong, though.
