They added a subtitle.
Odds are now heavily against me buying this.

Edit:
OK, I lied, I'll wait to see what it's like first. But that website sucks, Bioware really needs to fire their web designer.

Dammit DU! I'm glad I checked first, because I had a post typed up and was getting ready to submit it.

On topic: I wonder what that World Builder deal is going to entail?

JarlFrank stole the Diablo 3 announcement from me. I sure as hell wasn't going to let anyone steal this exciting piece of world shattering news from me this time. I even camped the website all last night hoping they'd throw it up just before the end... Only to go to bed and wake up tomorrow and still not see anything new. So much for July 9, huh Mr. Gaider¹? I think they were hoping to have the HD trailer available but couldn't justify waiting any longer. Still, some screenshots would've been nice?

¹I know you're there. Watching. Waiting.

In Bioware's defense, they also had a larger update on the website: Celebrating over 4 million members.
I don't know you so I have to ask, you are being sarcastic right?

Please tell me that this Spike TV show it's appearing on won't be hosted by some obnoxious MTV-ish dumbass that knows jack shit about RPGs.

Heh, a countdown to another countdown.

I don't know what Bioware's plan is, but the way their staff is replying to the angry posters at the main Bio forum is really not helping the situation.

Ex.

"If there was no teaser page, would you be here now?

Sure, you're complaining, but you're here.

And, since you are here, I consider that a success"

Seriously? It's like their marketing department has been paid by someone to run their business straight to hell. It's like they're deliberately trying to piss off potential consumers.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

People keep saying they're so pissed yet iut's the ones whining the loudest who will be amongst the first to buy the game (or steal it because they're fuckin' theives!).

Look at that. A patch for NWN like 6 years after it's release. Or 5? 2002 or 2003?

HAHAHAHA!

It would be funny if the trailer itself was a short announcement that more info will be on the website July the 15th or something.

I concur. They could have, for example, added some concept art. Yet now they only seem as PR douchebags.

I hope they continually do this just to see how much more whining will occur.

July 9 - Just 11 - July 15 - all the way up to release day.

HAHAHAHA!

Hmmm, Dragon Age: *Origins*?

They've already planned a sequel to Dragon Age, then. Why else add a subtitle?

Man, when you're as large as Bioware, you can look years far ahead, and make plans for entire trilogies before they are even made.

My guess is Dragon Age as it was initially planned was not scaled realistically so they decided to split it in a game series.

As long as it isn't one of those <20 hour gameplay cakewalks, I'm fine with it. Seeing the latest trends (Eoware and some others), I'm not really optimistic though.

Maybe sequel will have nation enslaving necromancy spell. *crossing fingers*

Btw I'm just waiting till I hear on the news "fan of computer game Dragon Age throws himself off a building after being continually teased in its internet forum."

Well, that sucked. I hoped for something like D3 announcement - nice gameplay trailer and loads of info and pages. What's with this new idiotic "watch our trailer on Spike TV!" trend? Consolization?

It's hosted by Geoff Keighley. He's really good and not even slightly obnoxious. Game Trailers TV is actually pretty good. They have great interviews and exclusive previews of stuff that nobody else gets. It used to be Game Head. Plus it's in HD.

My theory is that Volourn is akin to the repressed homosexuals who will go out of their way to fervently criticize other homosexuals in order to distance themselves. A repressed fanboy, if you will.
