Cripes! What a massive weight of response! Could it be that people are tired of waiting and just don't care anymore? Or perhaps they actually played the game with the bugs (as I did) and completed it a few times, had a fine time, and then moved on? (As people usually do with games.)

Seriously, the only bugs I encountered during the game were the monsters appearing in walls, which wasn't really a problem anyway - the reason for resting in an unsafe place being because I really needed to - making the monsters in walls a non issue. (I could reload because of the m-i-w's or I could get my arse handed to me and then reload.) Then there are the bugged craft items, which I didn't need.

I never really encountered too many bugs myself, except for dialogue problems which I mentioned in another topic awhile back. I only played it through once though, and am waiting for the patch to play it through some more times. Mainly due to the fact that I wish to mess with some of the things people were saying had bugs, like crafting items and such. For now though, I just reinstalled Darklands and will play with it a bit until the patch comes along. :)

I will be able to play again. Yeah!

BTW, nothing so far has kept me from playing, I just decided to wait for the patch instead of getting angry at the game, if it did stop me from playing.

I have mostly played Ironman because I don't feel much tension otherwise (I die? I reload). And apart from the ocasional spawn in the wall (inexistent in Ironman because I only sleep in green zones) and CTD when having a dwarf in plate armor (I prefer plain humans) I had no problem.

Well, now I'm playing with the Co8 patch. But when the patch is ready (and a "patched" executable is ready too) I will reinstall the game and play without the Co8 patch. At least until I finish the game. The farther I went was to (****SPOILER****) after doing (****SPOILER****) and then I died.

If you cannot read (****SPOILER***) is because your clearance level is not high enough, citizen

Not bad, but I reckon you could've thrown in a link to Troika as well. :)

But isn't the Circle of 8 patch removable without uninstalling the game? I've gotten a lot into the game, i hope i won't have to uninstal and start all over again... :?

Yes, the Co8 patch is completely uninstallable (that word just doesn't sound right for some odd reason ), so there is not need to have to reinstall the whole game.
