Computer Games Romania hands out their review of Legends of Aranna, giving it a more generous 81/100. I didn't bother reading the full thing, though, mainly because that site loads really slow and has that really annoying load indicator which makes you painfully aware of how slow it's actually loading - for each of the three pages of the thing! But, here's a clip from the first page:

In this respect, I admire the attempt by Mad Doc to bring some profoundness into the Dungeon Siege universe, by placing journals and notes all over the game map, which will give you information about your parents and a world that has long passed. The action from Legends take place on a luxuriant island situated west of the Kingdom of Ehb, which was home to the mighty Utrean civilization. The outdoor level design is very good, with the new jungle tile set being excellently done. However, as in DS, you will have only one path on which you can reach the end of a game zone, which makes Legends as linear as DS. For the record, it takes about 15 hours or so to complete the campaign in single-player. If you play in multi, it could take longer.

Well, that's rather disappointing. 15 hours is incredibly short for a linear game.

Not to mention the fact that it's just more of the same in different environments. Ooooh, now I can watch the game play itself in this new setting. Yay!
