There is a <a href="http://www.nanvaent.org/people/fairbane/JLEAngbandTk-292r2.zip">patch of sorts</a> for the <a href="http://www.thangorodrim.net/download.html#win32">Win32 version of AngbandTk</a> for those who don't like the Tk interface of the varient. Here's a brief description:
<br>
<br>
<blockquote>If you've never heard of AngbandTk, it's a version of
<br>
Angband with a user-friendly interface and souped-up
<br>
graphics and sound. It was built by Tim Baker using the
<br>
Tcl scripting language. You can download the original from
<br>
http://www.thangorodrim.net/download.html#win32
<br>
<br>
JLETk is so called because it's vanilla AngbandTk plus a
<br>
patched version of the "edit" files by Jonathan Ellis,
<br>
featuring more monsters, more items a new player race
<br>
and a change in monster depths to make diving smoother.
<br>
It's considered so good that it was incorporated wholesale
<br>
into Angband 3.0.1, for which no Tk release exists.
<br>
<br>
Note that installing JLETk won't affect any of the other
<br>
Tk variants, even though it requires you to paste over
<br>
some of the common files with new versions. Characters
<br>
from Vanilla AngbandTk should port straight over to the
<br>
JLE version without any trouble.</blockquote>
<br>
<br>
Dirty, dirty Tk.. Be gone!
