HomeLAN Fed has 2003-2004 gaming interview thing with Tom Ohle of BioWare, asking questions about his opinion of gaming in.. well.. 2003 and 2004. Here's one of them:

HomeLAN - Finally, what things would you like to see improve in the game industry in 2004 and why?

Tom Ohle - I think it's really key that the game industry continues to gain mainstream appeal throughout 2004 and beyond. When you look at most mainstream media, games are generally bunched into the "tech" category, whereas we should be seen as a viable form of entertainment--an interactive alternative to television and movies.

More interaction then, please.

But they're already somewhat seen as an interactive alternative to television. Like television, their options to roleplay can also be considered like the hundreds of channels out there, with nothing on.
