It seems that the EDBIS administration have taken a hiatus from their usual habit of employing our personal favorite casualty of random dismissive remarks to review the game, and seems to in fact have been written with someone with a (seemingly) much higher degree of intellect than the aforementioned habitual dolt.

Here's an exposition of what he/she had to say about the title:
Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna is the newly released expansion pack to last years's hack n'slash RPG Dungeon Siege. It comes with the original game and modifies that game as well, so at $30 it's quite a good value. But is it a good game? Yes and no.
If you liked Dungeon Siege, there's no reason you won't like Legends of Aranna. It's got more of everything that made that game enjoyable, like great graphics and music, lots of monsters, varied environments, and TONS of items. It's also got what makes that game dull: it's easy, repetitive, and forget about plot or character. If you've been tempted by Dungeon Siege, Legends of Aranna adds more oomph and, as two adventures in one $30 box, makes for great value. But it doesn't offer anything to those who weren't interested in the first place.

If you didn't like the original interactive screensaver, you'll best be staying away from this one just the same; an obvious conclusion. As the old proverb goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice..."

Behind you.
Even if you liked Dungeon Siege, you probably got really bored with it. I don't think playing a new campaign with the same thing will help that.
