The winner: Silent Storm

In a world racing to produce simplified games with mass-market appeal and cross-promotional opportunities, Nival's WWII-themed Silent Storm dares to head in the opposite direction. Not only does Silent Storm feature detailed turn-based tactical squad combat but it also has fantastic isometric graphics and innovative, fully deformable environments that really impact the gameplay. Add more depth with some well-developed RPG elements and you have one of the best strategy games in years.

The only decent mass market game genre are the tycoon games. Give me depth in CRPGs, thanks.

Isometric graphics? Its full 3D! Maybe that should be taken a a compliment though, all the models and weapons look smooth and detailed.

Hmm..."isometric" probably wasn't a great choice of words. I usually maintain an isometric (or near enough) perspective and I certainly didn't mean 2D but I'll slap myself on the wrist for not being more accurate.

If you guys were IGN, I'd be almost certain that KOTOR would have won.
