<a href=http://www.diygames.com>DIY Games</a> have a very short <a href=http://www.diygames.com/index.php?p=462&more=1>review</a> of <a href=http://www.spiderwebsoftware.com>Spiderweb</a>'s shareware CRPG <a href=httP;//www.spiderwebsoftware.com/geneforge2>Geneforge 2</a>. They thought it was neat enought to earn <b>3.5 stars out of 4</b>.

This is old-school gaming at its finest, with simple graphics, basic commands and lots of text. The quests often boil down to FedEx or exterminator jobs (get this, kill that, kill them so I can get those, etc.) so there is a lot of running around. The classes are limited to three; there are mage, warrior and rogue variants of shapers. This choice affects your starting stats, but little else. By the end of the game, the initial choice of class means next to nothing.</blockquote>
