Gigex is the latest to drop the hammer down on Blade & Sword in their review of the title. It gets a very lackluster 2.5/5 stars. The cons list is about twice as large as the pros list in the quickie review section, if that tells you anything. Here's a clip:

The player starts off in a nearly abandoned town, where the monsters have not yet invaded. Walk through the doors into the world, and you will find hordes of zombies and creatures taken from Chinese mythology. You will pursue side quests to strengthen your sword, because you only have one weapon throughout the game. You can empower your weapon and armor by rescuing a blacksmith, and having him install gems and other upgrades onto them. He is among a few different characters you will want to rescue, including a healer, a trainer, and a guy who looks after your safe box. Really, that's all he does. Oh yeah, and he carries your magic box so you can put a few gems inside and come out with better ones. I probably didn't have to explain it, because it's pretty much the same magic box from Diablo II.
