November 29th, scheduled as the street day, was a very dark and sad day! Actually it was supposed to be the brightest day after endless weeks of developing. I hovered into the office as twinkle-toed as an angel with my face being distorted by my grin of enourmous wideness. At the same time many disappointed fans rushed into the shops to no avail and afterwards showed their displeasement in the forums about not being able to buy Gothic 2 as announced.

At first, I did not know anything about this. Everyone here at Piranha's was strongly convinced, that Gothic 2 will hit stores in time! A special squad consisting of Nico, Carsten and me even met in the office, despite general vacation, to help the first players in the forums and via email. The lightning fast posted news entry on the official page said 'It is here!' and 'Gothic 2 is out as of today', and the whole degree of desaster was not yet to be seen.</blockquote>
