PC.IGN has a preview of Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines for those who didn't get enough of this game for today. Here's a bit on clothing and stuff:

Not only will each clan have unique personalities, but they will also have unique armor and clothes that will fit their disposition. For example, the vain and beautiful Toreador will favor more decorative outfits, while the insane Malkavians will sport a mish-mash of clothes and armor that don't always seem to match. Another interesting bit about the crazed Malkavians is that they will have completely separate and often more disjointed conversation trees than the other clans, and these responses even have a special "crazy" font associated with them so you know when you're picking the most insane comeback possible.

So, they're not insane enough for you to pick it out by context?

It mite go along the same lines as an "angry" response, instead of babbling with anger it comes out with insane laughter. Confusing the NPC instead of pissing them off.

Speaking of combat, the fighting system is a mix of twitch and stat based fighting. While much of the combat is dictated through the use of quick reflexes, with higher stats you may gain such abilities as increased range, accuracy and damage while using a gun. Since this is a first-person, action RPG, all of the combat takes place in real-time. There is no pause feature (although you can use your special abilities to slow down time), so you better be ready to click, click, click that mouse button once the combat starts.

This is funny, in First person perspective there's actually a context for reflexive oriented combat, so why complain? But in BG, a 2D isometric game, twitchy combat is expected and praised. Not only that, it appears that this guy wants to Baldurize Bloodlines (pause-function, bhah).

Well Jesus that does sound like alot of work. I spend all day packing meat down at the plant, so when I sit down to play a game I like to turn off my brain and relax my tired muscles, not fuck around with clicking vampires and shit.

What the fuck is with these people? Bloodlines is an FPS. Of course it'll have fucking action gameplay. An FPS with a pause button is just idiotic since you could pause every time you want to line up a shot.

I didn't think crazy people acted like stupid wacky goths, they just seemed like normal. But they're crazy. I think what you choose to say should be normal but it might come out differently.

I also hope we're not forced to dress and act wacky as Malkavians. Perhaps I'm role-playing someone who is so insane he doesn't dress and act like a 5-year old.

I hadn't even thought about the fact that he might be referring to a pause where you can still move your crosshair around. If that's really what he was thinking, that's absolutely hilarious. Kinda of like "bullet time" on Max Payne, except a total time stop, and unlimited usage.
