Heroes attract people. [--] Instead of just being just the lone person on your own, there is a whole bunch of people--

:decline:

Goddamnit, being all alone against the great evil was one of the main things that made Diablo. Of course they started to slip from this already in Diablo II but still...

They go on to say that the people you attract stay behind in the towns. Basically you're attracting merchants, so no one will be following you around to help you kill shit.

After watching this I'm totally apathetic towards this game.

I thought it looked pretty fucking cool myself. I'm all for a challenge, but when I click a button and want some shit to blow up, I want it to look like that. Fireballs and shit are cool...

I got excited even though I didn't think I would.

It's only fair, given that you still accept me knowing I've been playing Bioware's.

So, yeah

Not to get off topic here, but is bagpipe blowing really a martial art?

It's a reference to a line from the Mike Myers movie "So I Married an Axe Murderer".

Charlie Mackenzie: You know, Scotland has its own martial arts. Yeah, it's called Fuck You. It's mostly just head butting and then kicking people when they're on the ground.

That explanation wasn't nearly as fun as I'd hoped it would be.

On the positive side, the new Tomb Raider game looks fun. Time to remove nothing from the inventory.

The shitty visuals seen here are mostly due to making the movie almost from FP view with models that are meant to be seen from top down perspective. Still, even in shots taken from further away the game looks ostensibly worse then the first gameplay videos.

Somebody needs a smack.

What a faggy site. I really don't want to see 90% old footage flash cut into my new footage, thanks assholes.

The idea that a hero would have a group of people who idolize and want to help him makes complete sense and they are just adding gameplay elements to the type of thing that happened in Diablo II (certain NPCs follow you to the next area).

But the way those NPC supplies are "teleported" in... LOL. Pretty sad and cheap thing to do for mighty Blizzard.

To me it looks incredibly similar to Dungeon Siege II.

And it's not really that bad - I quite liked DS II until it got boring like every other h'n's.

Any news on the bazillions of Shadowlords that the player will have to deal with due to the shattering of the Worldstone?
