RPG Vault has posted a preview of the upcoming second installment of Shadowflare, which is basically a Japanese take on Diablo 2. Here's a piece of it:

As you go through the new areas for this episode, the vast openness is easily noticeable. Episode One's locales were relatively small and linear, and Episode Two's are just the opposite. You can sometimes run for minutes in one direction and see nothing but forest, which can really help to make the world feel open and dangerous. While these new locations are huge, they are not barren. Various camps of monsters will swarm you. Ways to disarm them are easily found, as well as treasure. Exploring every nook and cranny can prove to be beneficial. New towns are also included, each of which is slightly different from the previous. As in the first segment, you gain new missions by talking to NPCs in towns. However, in Episode Two some of them are a bit more talkative, and will weave you a tale or two.

It'd have to be really, really, really good to make up for the first episode.
