In <a href=http://www.elderscrolls.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=2845662&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=10&vc=1>this thread</a>, the following announcement was made:

I'm divided about having a Fallout 3 specific board. The pros would be that it would gather all FO3 related talk there, and it would be interesting to discuss it. But i don't know if we need a beacon that attracts nimrods who register for the sole purpose of trolling.

Eh, I say it's about time. As mentioned, every conceivable argument from every viewpoint had been mentioned at least once in the first thread or two, and all that was happening in the 13 threads that followed was repetition. It was a waste of bandwidth and off-topic (these forums ARE on elderscrolls.com, not fallout3.com or even bethsoft.com). I'm sure that, eventually, there'll be official Fallout 3 boards from Bethesda.

Hopefully the trolls won't bother coming over from the Elder Scrolls forums, either here or NMA. And hopefully trolls won't go from those places over to the Elder Scrolls forums to rant & rave there, either.

On the one hand, it's good to hear you aren't going the crazy Chucky gestapo lockdown route.

On the other hand, I'm disappointed that now we won't get a chance to enjoy another Elara debacle. Actually, it's still not too late. Any volunteers? We need one pathetic turncoat with a buying price of a forum modship, one mob of angry community members, one guy to photoshop the turncoat into a variety of hilarious pictures involving branded dildos and we need Mr. Carrot to go dig up some obscure Japanese porn.

As for a FO3 discussion board... no. This is a general RPG site and it's forums are devoted to RPGs in general. Feel free to talk about Fallout, but if you want a specific Fallout forum, NMA! Y'know, because giving competition to Odin makes Briosafreak cry.
