Nah, DS had a supersweet little dungeon you came to if you followed a little firefly in the first part of the forest. The firefly led you into an empty clearing with some ruins and pillars. As it happened one of the pillars worked as a mechanism for a stairway. Nothing important or nothing, but ultra-sweet... I want more of that in DS2 and less of obvious stuff like "the exit is on the other end of this cave". Yeah, thanks.

Whipporwill, is that the same dungeon where you had to leave items on various stones in order to open up more of the dungeon? That actually was nice; the automap didn't show the hidden parts and I missed revealing the full dungeon the first time through the game (thought it was just a one room crypt).

Hm, not sure. I remember that one too - but I believe the first one was just a beginner tomb with a few easier enemies and some gold. It showed that the DS engine could've easily supported a lot more complex dungeons... damned nerfing.
