<A href="http://gemrb.sourceforge.net/">GemRB</a>'s site on <A href="http://www.sourceforge.net/">SourceForge</a> has been updated with progress about their <i>Infinity Engine</i> work alike. If you've never heard of this project, there's some <A href="http://gemrb.sourceforge.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=photoshare&file=index">screenshots</A> of it running various games, at least as well as it currently can. Here's the bit about the update:

<blockquote>If you had not check out CVS for a while, try it - we finally have a spellbook and inventory GUIScripts in CVS. PST can do inventory and priest scroll, BG2 and TOB can do (I think) all of them, others are worked upon. Enjoy!</blockquote>

Well, at least that'll be good news for those of you who want to run those games that weren't ported to those other operating systems or something.
