Dagon of Dagon's Lair has posted his take on the recently released Kult: Heretic Kingdoms. He gives the gameplay a 3/5, though he says that may be a little on the highish side. Here's a quote:

As for the gameplay it's not so great... If the storyline is awesome and complex, the game, only playable solo, is in fact only yet another Diablo like. The world interaction only deals with boxes and chests. Dialogs are interesting and offer some real choices, but after many hours gameplay I had to be a realist. This game is just a hack & slash where you explore the world. As much in that you won't remember the complex scenario (which is however really interesting).

I have to say that I tried the demo of this game, and I really wasn't that impressed with it. The combat just seemed a little off or something, and the rest of the game just didn't seem that great either.

The state of insanity.
Eh. I like the game and am getting a good amount of enjoyment out of it. Heck, I'm already planning out how I want to build my character for my next run through the game. As I've said in a previous post, it's nothing uberfantastic, but for a first game from some first time programmers, it's still pretty decent and an awesome story to boot.

I look forward to see what they do in the future now that they've established themselves in the gaming community.
