Geforce 8800 and Radeon 4850 are about equal cards in terms of performance yet 8800 is listed as "minimum" and 4850 as "recommended". Anyone else is bothered by this? Shouldn't 4870 be listed in the same category as GTX 260? Or does the game run that much better with Radeon cards?

Geralt must be the most boring character ever made. It's like Drizzt or some shit but ridiculously grimdarkened.

One time activation (using internet connection) after installation. Tomasz Gop said they won't leave it like that and it will prolly end up like previous witcher (patch that removes drm).

Both have white hair. Duh.

The 4850 thing is probably a typo. I'm sure the game takes advantage of newer cards with all bells n whistles on.

No, no, it's not half as dark or half as gritty as this:

His last bullet severed one of her ponderous breasts

He entered a room and saw a large man who had to be X plowing a woman of equal size on the bed beneath him.

I never said they were exactly the same thing, but there's definitely likeness in the type of characters they are.
they are both stand-out, like, throughout the entire game's universe, in appearance (drizzt being a nigger with white hair, geralt being a pale dude with white hair) and profession (drizzt super ranger, geralt super monster hunter). they both have their posse of dwarves and shit and they are both kind of anti-heroes (well not really drizzt maybe).

but that's not the ridiculous part, the ridiculous part is that he's so damn over-grimdark.

Wonder why they even bother with that, since the GoG version will apparently be DRM free. I guess to theoretically slow day 0 piracy, then throw the gates open on day 1?
