The boyos at RPGDot have posted the second part of their 2005 CRPG release article. Oddly enough, the second day shows off more CRPGs I find interesting like this one:

UK publisher Excalibur recently picked up Star Wolves from Russian developer Xbow. Star Wolves is a space-based RPG with strong strategy elements, that places the player in control of a small squad of bounty hunters. The game revolves around a small mothership that can house up to six small fighters, along with their pilots. Trailers reveal gameplay that looks inspired by Homeworld with a smaller focus, along with a surprisingly complex character skill system, ship upgrades and character interaction. Space-faring RPGs are a rarity and hopefully Xbow can combine an interesting RPG with compelling combat.

Okay, here's a CRPG I always forget when I'm listing what I'm looking forward to playing this year. There's just not enough space flight CRPGs out there.

Thanks, Dhruin!

Regarding Heart of Eternity...

Here's a mirror for the hi-res trailer of Heart of Eternity since the one on the official site seems to be down:

Shows some promise, but where are all the people? :)

Once upon a time a Great watch-maker, possessed by arrogance, has made watches, that counted out time, left to the world. After death of the master his younger brother, also a powerful magician, has gone on searches of these watches. If they aren't started in due time, they will count to the end and the world will be destroyed, there will come a time collapse!

The old magician has devoted all life to searches of the watches, and now on a treshold of the death he asks you to continue his quest. For this purpose you need to reincarnate in one of three heroes: the knight, the magician or the barbarian...

EDIT: where are all the people? = where are the inhabitants of the world?

'Utter Trash' are all the LOTR games (except the Melbourne House one).

Most of these games look interesting.

'Gothic' was an ' in development rpg from unkown-over-here Euro studio' before it came out. It wasn't trash.

It was, instead, about the fucking best thing we got that year.

Edit: Hello, new.

Plenty of interesting stuff here, guess we'll just have to see what will make it, what will come out in english and what might actually be good. At least there seem to be some more sci-fi rpg's coming, I just can't stand any more elves and dwarf shit.

I thought this list looked better than the list from yesterday. I'd like to give Goldenland a whirl, as well as COPS. Star Wolves looks pretty sweet also.

Star Wolves does look pretty sweet. I'm rather looking forward to seeing a space sim RPG. Can't say I have any hope for Goldenland, though as I doubt it'll even find a publisher.

I think there's quite a bit of potential in that list

Im interested in:

1. Boiling Point
2. Heart of eternity
3. Getica
4. Phase: Exodus
5. Vision
6. Star Wolves

and i'll probably give a few of the others a go as well!
