3DAccelerated.com has taken time out of their busy schedule of eating Dorito sandwiches to write up this star studded review of Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich. Damn, did they ever love it. Here's why:

In general, I enjoy games such as this, and it takes a lot for a particular game to grab my interest as much as this game did. I found myself laughing out loud at a few different points in the game, something that many games never make me do. In short, if you are looking for an extremely fun, cartoon based game, this is definitely going to be one of the best.

I just like the first sentence, because it made my head hurt.

I hate to say it, but I thought the game was a bit of a dud.

SWAT 4 (also by Irrational) is great, though.

I'm trapped somewhere in nazi time in FFvtTR, it's fun to play a mission every day or two. It's fun to play a game that just works, and the novelty while not quite as endearing the second time around is still fun.

My biggest problem is that the game is just too open to munchkinism, I didn't bother to recruit anyone until nazi time, so then I looked at my available points, and made a custom character that used them all - and is therefore a walking god. I can heal my other characters almost at will, and bash and shoot my way through anything in a few seconds. At least I don't have to use her, but she should have been like 50K instead of 20K compared to the other characters.

1. shorter than the original which was short enough.
2. Story less fun IMO.

I had big hopes for this one, but alas those where far from being fullfilled. but the engine was better ;)

Hahaha...no kidding!

It is a pretty good game, but the swastika lack really annoyed me, especially since you have blackjack cut the throat of his fellow scientist. It is just humorous. I like the over the top acting and such, though.

Part of the problem is some characters are super usefula nd some are near useless, and as you said, you can make a crushingly tough character with only 10k prestige points. For 15k you can make one that obliterates tanks at will...there needs to be some limitations or something.
