It's not a RPG, it's Blizzard. Blizzard is its own category of games. Nobody can pull something like WOW or Diablo except for Blizzard. They're great, even though they initiate against their will a huge torrent of shit. You can't blame them for they do it right. It's the subpar developers or publishers who are greedy, not them, they just do what they are good at doing while cruising in their diamond-studded cigarette boats with models.

Its not the rpg aspect, but the hack n slash real money aspect that makes this shit a fantasy casino for all intents and purposes. Decline? Definitly!!! But I dont give a shit. I want to waste shitloads of money and hours trying to get that sword worth $80. It crosses boundaries, bro. It turns games into reality. This shit is pure sci-fi extravaganza dystopian material. D3 is the beginning of the end for all mankind, and i intend to slurp that shit up like a forest of pussies. :obviously:

Blizzard is Spielberg. Of course, Welles, Kubrick or Murnau are better. But then you can't shit on "Encounter of the third kind", "Jaws" or "War of the worlds" unless you're a pathetic snubbish moron.

After the facepalm-inducing, cheesy/boring/poorly written mediocrity that was Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty campaign, I have some reservations about the quality of Blizzard's upcoming releases.

Of course, for me Lucas & Spielberg killed Hollywood in the eighties. I was really fond of the 70's Hollywood production: Coppola, "Five easy pieces", Pacino, "Easy rider", Polanski, Bogdanovitch & stuff. But then you can't blame it on "Jaws". "Jaws" is still a great movie even if it initiated a torrent of popample. But then I guess that the audience was ready for it. "Wasteland 2" is a godsend for it caters to the more monocled-ones but then "Diablo" is still the best diablo-like (duh!) and you can't take that from Blizzard.

I must be a pathetic snubbish moron then. War of the Worlds was trash. Early Spielberg = good, however, before his movies became good concepts that ended up poorly executed.

"War of the world" is absolutely strange, especially the ending which is a gigantic WTF? But then you can replace it by "Minority report" if you want which is much more concise.

For me, the end of "War of the worlds" is that the guy is dead, it's too weird, he goes back to his house, the colours turn to sepia and you have his whole family going "Daddy, come eat some turkey" or whatnot. Morons who like a happy end interpret it as a happy end but I'm really not sure, it's too weird. Spielberg is a fucking crook, like all geniuses.

Starcraft is a sport (in South Korea, the top players are earning millions) , Scarcraft 2 was never meant to be played in a single-player campaign, except to cater for a tiny western audience. Blizzard is Blizzard: they're designing weird shit: Diablo 3 will only be a multi-player game. At the same time they don't want to kill WOW so they sell it its single-player campaign. But Blizzard is just the weirdest shit ever, their design decisions absolutely don't apply to the other studios. Just like Spielberg who's at the same time a great director and one of the business top-player in Hollywood.

Except that SC2 sucks in MP compared to SC:BW, they wanted to kill SC:BW pro scene to force SC2 in Korea I think that they had settled with paying Bizzard fees for playing SC:BW (and is ridiculous that Blizzard would get fees from people who made SC:BW so successful) as there was never enough interest in viewer base to make SC2 esport in Korea that would match the success of SC:BW. Also good MP wouldn't prevent Blizzzard to make good SP.

I really don't know because I never liked RTS games. But I have a married friend with kids who is a doctor and who is very straight (I'm stoned a lot of the time I spend awake) who became totally addicted to his place in the global Starcraft 2 ladder. I can understand that because I had to go through a divorce because (amongst other things) of WOW.

War of the worlds was fucking retarded, Aliens who have technology to travel through wast distances of space, but that don't even have rudimentary knowledge about biology. I know that it was based on book but that doesn't change the fact that the premise was ridiculous, he could do a good script or make movie based on good novel instead.

For me, the end of "War of the worlds" is that the guy is dead, it's too weird, he goes back to his house, the colours turn to sepia and you have his whole family going "Daddy, come eat some turkey" or whatnot. They still did go on about how mother earth had protected us from Aliens, no matter if he had died or not, the ending is pretty happy considering that we would have 0 chance if Aliens would had actually attacked earth.

Minority Report was ok.
