GameSpy dusted off their gloves and reviewed that Restricted Area game from Master Creating. They uppercut the game with a 1/5 stars. Here's a clip:

Perhaps neither of these issues would be so bad if it weren't for the fact that Restricted Area doesn't include the ability to pause. Let me repeat that: you cannot pause the game. So if your kid needs food or your cat jumps in front of your monitor right in the middle of a big fight (as happened to me once), expect to die and restart the level since you can't just hit Escape or Pause to deal with real life momentarily. Your life takes a back seat to Restricted Area.

What? I seem to remember being able to pause the game with the menu. Maybe my memory is foggy, but I'm sure that pauses it.

It does, but the other comments about the save system, the bugs, the gameplay, and the lack of content are pretty much spot on.
