IGN: Give us a quick overview of KOTOR. What makes it different from any other Star Wars game?

Casey Hudson: This is the first role-playing game (RPG) ever in the Star Wars universe. For the first time, players will have the freedom to explore the Star Wars universe, while being immersed in a spectacular story worthy of a feature film. You'll be able to speak to any character in the game, make friends who will join up with you, and become so powerful in the Force that your actions will affect the entire galaxy.
It also represents an advancement in both technology and game design. We are pushing the limits of both the Xbox and PC platforms to deliver the most cinematic Star Wars gaming experience to date. As well, we're using our experience in developing the Baldur's Gate series and Neverwinter Nights to take storytelling and compelling game design to unprecedented levels.
