It looks like the Warhorse Studios pitching tour has payed off.

They didn't send us a press release (mumble mumble), but it seems RPG mega website and favorite blog of hardcore PC gamers everywhere - Kotaku - got their hands on one. Here's how I imagine it read:

Publisher Overjoyed As Ambitious Cheap Labor Czechs Want To Create Skyrim-Killer. PC and Nex-Gen Console RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance Unveiled!

The game is described as a non-linear RPG with first-person combat set in the times of the Holy Roman Empire, targeting a 2015 release for PC and Xbone/PS4. Here's a press release snippet from CRPG bastion Kotaku:

As players traverse expansive, strikingly detailed locales, they'll grapple with a range of period- accurate fighting techniques, horseback combat, open-field sieges, and large-scale battles, all while developing relationships and a reputation that will inform the greater story. Kingdom Come: Deliverance promises no magic, high fantasy or mythical overtones - it draws its inspiration instead from historically authentic characters, themes, and warfare.

A couple of screenshots showing some authentic medieval cleavage and realistic swordplay can be found here.

In addition to this, they also released a teaser trailer:

Update:
The game also has a website now: http://kingdomcomerpg.com/.
It's currently showing a countdown timer. 33 days? Geez.

This looks promising, but from what I understand from their blog post, they still haven't secured funding right ?

Holy shit those Kotaku reader are some very solid material
So like a boringer, more lame, more "realistic" version of Skyrim? Yeah..... no.

Reckoning : The Awakening. Alliance: The Omen. Challenge : The Rising.

Am I the only one to be tired of these sorts of titles?
Maybe. Far better model than Final Fantasy XIII-2

Sorry to say that's an extraordinarily boring art style. Poles win again. Hell, even Skyrim wins compared to that.

Nah, Skyrim was boring, generic lolfantasylolvikings stuff from people who have obviously never studied armour in the slightest. This is probably the closest look at historical armour we've ever gotten. Followed by The Witcher 2.

Skyrim had an interesting art style compared to this game. I don't care about ~realistic~ equipment.

The graphics look better than Skyrim IMO.

Finally somebody does Mount&Blade rip off.

If they would copy the combat from M&B and add a little more RPG to it it might end up being some incline.
