Ascaron has released an update for Sacred Underworld, their expansion to the relatively well-received Diablo-clone Sacred.
Here's the fixlist for patch 2.24:

* Recurring Bugs in "Chain Lightning" fixed.
* Lag issues through frequent use of “Tentacle” spell fixed.
* If you dismount from a horse directly near a cave, go into the cave and return, not only did the horse become irreversibly invisible but the player also, at least while riding. Fixed.
* If a mage binds a mounted character by way of a magic spell the horse won’t move anymore, even if the spell has ended. Fixed..
* Weapons of Shadow Guards were wrongfully displayed between their legs. Fixed.
* Skill value overflow for some characters. Fixed.
* LAN / Open Net start button not always functional. Fixed.
* Horse riding no longer counts as inactivity in Multiplayer games.
* Fixed a bug in Pigeon Pottpercy subquest: Three pirates did not always appear or were not applicable to quest.
* Fixed LAN / Open Net bug in Ancaria The Forge of the Elders mainquest. Occasionally not possible to summon the demon because Shareefa disappeared.
* Some possible causes for ingame freezes were fixed.

Developers these days will do everything to avoid Jack Thompson.

Eh, fuck him. Prolly beats it to child porn hentai

I think in this case the hentai makes it less despicable. I guess there's a first time for everything.

Note: this patch is for pretty much every version except the US version, which already has the patch integrated due to being released significantly later (hence possibly why you couldn't find it a while back when I bought it, Saint?).

So, you can look at it either that the Yanks are hard done-by having to wait so much longer than the rest of the world; or that the rest of the world is hard done-by having to beta test for the Yanks :D

EDIT:
Actually, the US release is out today
Ascaron is proud to anounce Sacred: Underworld scheduled for release in the US through publisher Encore on the 9th of August 2005.
News item please!

How does the dwarf play? Cool or not?
Very cool. The addition of this character alone is reason enough to get the expansion. Sadly, the new locations were a big let down for me. They're linear as hell with nothing to explore. They reminded me of those desert caves in the second act of Diablo 2. Bland and boring. But since you can play the main game with the new characters and all the other additions, I don't really mind the dull new places.

I loved everything about this game except the enemies and areas... hmm. Well, they were cool in small doses. But the place is so damned huge. Also, there was very little in the way of cool secret hidden areas and random dungeons.

For my experience which took me through 2/3 of the main game, You fight goblins, undead and humans. The humans are the more boring of all, cos they look different but are largely the same. And the cultists with their weird audio drove me insane. You meet a drop of 6 and you will hear "Repent for forgiveness" about 18 times in a row. -_-

Combat was ace tho, and the characters we all awesome.
