As promised in the last Kickstarter update, Larian have organized another Divinity: Original Sin Twitch livestream today. It's hosted by Swen Vincke, who is also answering questions from viewers while he plays.

I'm told that some familiarly named imps make an appearance!

The upcoming RPGs will all be of comparable quality. They will blur together in some ways while not competing with each other in others due to different design focuses. Constructing a fair ranking or tier isn't feasible.

Still, I feel Divinity: Original Sin will stand out slightly from the rest of them as the boss among bosses.

So modders or others with various editors experience, how does this editor look to you?

MCA Project: Eternity
from a level designers pov it looks like a robust tool, similar to other toolsets out there. i especially like the automated wall drawing, where you simply place a base model and click'n drag on either edge to create the wall. you can even replace different parts of the wall. while there's a button to enable a 3-axis rotate widget i can't spot a button for scaling, which seems kinda weird not to be included. the scaling factor is hidden in the object's properties. swen also talked about the camera and that it's possible to script its behaviour.

i missed a question about the compatibility of the toolset to a (wacom) tablet and touch sensitivity which would come in handy while scultping terrain and painting textures.
