GameAxis has a review of Fable as well. Here's a clip:

Essentially, this re-iteration of the console hit features the same backbone of a plot and characters that you will not be unfamiliar with if you had played the game before on the Xbox, so I shall not waste any time exploring the minute intricacies of the game. The new content however, makes up about one third of the overall game structure and showcases several new and amusing add-ons to the already mind-boggling display of options available. These include brand new regions to explore (nine in fact) as well as a hearty serving of 16 new quests plus a rather impressive ice creature for you to battle with from the enhanced bestiary.

Ice creatures? Too bad one of those new weapons in the game isn't a hair dryer.

Hmm... in a few points he makes some gross over exaggerations.

The game truly allows you to create a totally different Hero each time you play depending on your choices you make

I wish. No game has ever allowed you to do that.

It's got a good number of nifty options, but I sure wouldn't use the word mind boggling.

I thought you played the same hero each game as well. Sure, you make choices about his development, but nearly all CRPGs with a certain degree of dialogue use allow that.

Yea, I mean, you get some little differences and some bigger differences (such as evil/good appearance), but each game isn't that different from one another.

You do play the same hero, because the story is essentially about him. I don't know why people complain about not being able to play a chick or something, that's not what the game is about. Do you get to play Zelda in a Zelda game? No, the story is about Link.
