2014 is over, and it was a pretty good year for PC RPGs, definitely the best we've had in a while. Story-focused RPGs, tactical RPGs, "blobbers," JRPGs, ARPGs, etc. -- whatever subgenre you name, chances are there was at least one decent to great RPG of that type released in 2014.
As a result, we fully expect this year's traditional PC RPGOTY voting to be more intense than ever. Which is why esteemed community member felipepepe has chosen to set up a comprehensive poll that includes pretty much every RPG-ish title released last year (or, as in case of Heroine's Quest, very close to it). This includes the most significant expansions and PC ports, too.
In this poll, you can rate any 2014 RPG on a scale from 1 to 5. "1" means you didn't enjoy the game at all, "5" means you think it's really great. It would also be nice of you not to vote on games you haven't played.

The voting will stay open for another week or so, after which felipepepe will use the magic of science to calculate the results. One game will be chosen as the RPG Codex's official RPG of the Year, but there will be plenty of other data for felipepepe to analyze and share, too. As he put it elsewhere,
The official discussion thread can be found on the forums, but feel free to discuss the voting here, too.

felipepepe said:I chose this survey format because of how much data we can get from it. We can simply sum the rates, do a bayesian average to compensate for popularity, see which is the most player, the least played, the high-rated underdog, the low-rate popular one.
