Do you see what I am talking about?

No, you don't, because you didn't click this thread because it wasn't fucking orange significying that there was a new post in it.

Taluntain: when I clicked on the 3rd page of the Mass Effect movie thread, AVG gave me this warning.

Every time I clicked the back arrow, it tried to load comicsbulletin.com again and I got the same AVG warning.

I hadn't clicked on any ad, just the page 3 link for this thread.

As DU has said, nothing to do with us. People are including images on that page from sites that AVG has listed as "bad". I don't see any issues right now so I'd jot it down as a false positive right now.

I'm getting ads, but I still have the Patron tag. Did a year pass and I'm supposed to pay again now not to see the ads?

Remove "You've been selected for a free Nintendo Wii"; I already have a Wii.

Everyone is aware that to be successful in RPG games, you need a strategy and execute it to perfection. The same thing applies for online poker games, especially in texas hold'em. There are also some reckless players in RPG games that just ruin the fun for everyone. I would believe they can do well in an online casino by trying out their luck.

So, who are the fuckers who ruin the fun for everyone?
Damn RPG terrorists, exploding our peaceful RPG gamersworld with their recklessness!? :(

But trying to get rid of them by addicting them to random cardgames, who came up with that plan? I'm pretty sure it won't work. At all.

Where will that end? Feel free to become a patron if you don't like banners with viruses in them? My website virus alert has rung more than once on the Codex before already.

All prices are USD, unless you're European in which case they're in Euro's because Europeans like to pay more. Likewise if you're in the UK, just make it pounds.

There are some things money can't buy, for everything else, there's the Codex new cashcow.

Make the post-count much more expensive, I'd say somewhere along the 50$ price tag.

Seriously, I wonder how many would've left the forum if their post count was invisible. And how many interwebz people sit on various fora just because of the post-count, or badges or such.

That's the price of independence - you take the best that you can get as far as advertising goes.

False positives pop up all the time (like with pretty much every game trainer in existence), so just because your virus scanner threw up a red flag doesn't mean that there's really anything to it.

But, as per the first post in this thread which no one seems to bother to read, you can always report any potentially malicious ads (which any infected ones certainly would be) and I'll look into it.

False positives only show up if you're using some worthless free virus protection. Spend the $50 a year to get something decent like NOD32.

The talkies have to go, though. I kept getting those "Congratulations! You have been selected..." and so, regrettably, had to turn on my ABP. :(
