I dunno, but I still kinda like the idea.

Have one general subforum about serious discussion.
And one for more comical threads.

Will probably change the atmospere in the serious topics to be more serious. Since people won't go from a comical thread to a serious thread.

Though that might end up with topics derailing even more frequently, because they were placed in the wrong subforum.
That's a bad thing, unless of course, you like derailed topics.

Also a serious thread could benifit from the occasional comical post.

Okay, there's a good possibility it might turn out bad, but there's also a possibility it will turn out good.
