Sell the code to a company that can use it to make a good Iron Man game.
Sell it? Ha ha. Right.

What's more likely to happen is that the next Mass Effect game is going to look and play suspiciously like Anthem (got to recoup that investment somehow!).
Jetpack Shepard with a proper arsenal of guns and powers would allow for a very fun game indeed, but they'll probably fuck it up.

Anthem is very fun to play and its biggest downfall is how quickly you've seen it all, so while it was probably said in jest, a reuse of the engine/gameplay for some Mass Effect project actually sounds pretty good. At least you'd expect a Mass Effect game to have actual content to go through.

As I've said before, the game died when it was intended to be an MMO and marketed as such. I get it, EA/BW spent millions on developpment, expecting it to be the next pop culture tsunami, and it ended up as play&uninstall fodder. It hurts. It hurts, but the harm is already done. Very short and very fun isn't such a terrible combo, on the contrary it's a good way to leave on a good note with no ending fatigue. Have fun, contemplate the missed potential, move on.

If you have someone to play with (or even solo), you're missing out by not giving this a go, especially now that it's really cheap.
