Any thoughts on the game "Konung 3"?

I found this game while browsing Gamersgate, and it looks like it could be an ok game to waste some time with. However, I have been fooled before by first impressions and this time disappointment is not an option!

So, do any of you upstanding gentlemen know anything about this game? Or about the two other "Konung" games?

I played the first Konung, it wasn't great but had its merits, treasure-hunting was nice. From what I've read from reviews of K3, though, it's p. horrible - both according to the reviews and to the players.

No first-hand experience though, so if you do give it a try, be sure to post your impressions!

Ok, fuck it. I bought it and will try it. It can't be any worse than the over-hyped shit I'm usually tricked into buying (I'm looking at you, Dragon Age).

Unfortunately, yes. I tried the game for a couple of hours, and it was awful. I want my hours back!

Basicly, it's like Dungeon Siege had a retarded brother. And I'm not talking retarded as in "just a bit slow" here. I'm talking full on mongoloid crack baby. The game is slow, clunky, has bad combat, laughable npc's and dialogue, and the graphics look like they are from 2002 or something.

Anyway, I only tried it for a couple of hours so it might get better later on. But somehow I doubt that I'm going to invest any more time in this crap. I loose. Again.

To be fair, from a proportional standpoint, Russian games are generally decent if they ever make it to the point where they get translated to English. Compare that to the number of native games that, well, suck. Of course, there are fewer Russian developers that do English games.

Compare that to how many developers we have that simply produce shovelware. Heck, some developers SPECIALIZE in shovelware. They don't get away with this in Russia because Russians pirate everything anyway, and you can't afford to make shovelware if you're going to also pay for Starforce.

Um... StarForce is the DRM of choice for 10$ Russian shovelware that never makes it to the west.
