Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
The gameplay looks like some action JRPG. It's like Grandblue Fantasy Relink, but worse and uglier. Also there are so much cringe oneliners, holy fuck. Like a fucking Marvel. Does these character ever shut up?

By shoving identity politics into game they also narrow their playerbase even more. The twitter/plebbit crowd is gonna love it, but the same people who scream about LGBTQWERY+ usually don't play games, as they are busy nolifing on twitter/plebbit.

I guess this will be another game "killed by chuds".

I played them all, and recently replayed on nightmare difficulty. So it's kinda fresh in my mind.

Origins was the smoothest experience. Slap on mods to speed up combat and turn off auras. It was too easy, there's barely any encounter design. When you set up AI, the game plays itself. I don't like minmaxing, but even with suboptimal choices there's no challenge. The story, lore and general atmosphere is why it's good imo.

Compared to my first time impressions, the faster pace of DA2 felt actually good. Lower number of skills is a good thing too - they trimmed the fat and removed fluff. AI settings are still robust enough, there are mods for that too.

The story and companions are mostly good, reuse of environments is obvious ass. What really drags it down is fucking reinforcements every fight that appear out of nowhere. I couldn't finish it on nightmare, it was like fighting endless orc warriors in Battle Brothers. With spears.

Inquisition is paradoxical in the sense that you need to have played it to enjoy it. I mean, you need to know what not to waste time on, MMO shit and all.

Lore is good, companions are mostly great, story and plot is ass, combat is ass. Some environments are nice to look at. And you need dlc for proper ending, yeah. The dwarf deep roads dlc with Solid Snake is cool.

Bottom line, gameplay in Dragon Age is ass. What's good about it is the overall tight worldbuilding and larger story beats that stay mostly consistent throughout the three games. It's a jar of honey inside a larger jar of shit.

I wanted to play Dreadwolf to see how the story ends, but once they started to show it I noped out and just here for the cringe now.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk, I accept cucks, shits and declines! But don't you dare slap a tldr on this baby.

Origins and Awakening were alright, and as I like to say, the last time Bioware actually gave a shit.
After that, it's all downhill...

DA:O was a 7/10 game and only AAA gaming addicts bothered with the sequels. EA figured out pandering to LGBTQI++_- increased sales because it pulled in wierdos and prog lefties, that and the gaming addicts STILL kept buying the games. Even now these addicts still make excuses like "Oh i will pirate this one and play for the Lols / meme" but this is just excuses for gaming addict genuinely interested in the game.

No way will I waste the bandwidth on this shit. I do expect to derive quite a bit of enjoyment from the ensuing threads that shit on it, though.

Taking a quick glimpse at the reviews I can't help but think this game is getting some serious astroturfing. They read so similarly to the point where many of them use the same stock phrases.

Also, I also looked at some of the authors of these reviews. They are EXACTLY the kind of people you might think they are. There's going to be a lot riding on this one politically. Gameplay/writing wise it looks mediocre AT BEST (and a God damn mess at worst), but that doesn't matter to that kind of person.

Expect another round of "gamers are dead/chuds/incels/racists/bigots/nazis/whatever". That's my prediction at least.

I pirated DA2, tried to like it and quit after 12 hours. I pirated DAI thinking I'd give Bioware a second chance and quit after 6 hours. At best I might pirate DAV for a little bit just to see how bad it is first hand. There does not exist a scenario where those libcuck Canucks get my money or where I finish their shitty game.
Never let it be said that I am not an optimist. After watching just one review, I can already say I underestimated how painfully boring and gay this game is going to be. The only people who should be permitted to play this are Kamala supporters and the terrorists in Guantanamo Bay.

:lol:I just realized the game is actually not being sold in my region in both Steam & EA app, I can't even play it even if I wanted to.
It seems EA is lumping the entire MENA region together like how Square enix did, I'm from Egypt but I can't play Final Fantasy 16 because of Saudi Arabia, they banned the game for gay content and probably did the same Dragon age.
Of course Egypt isn't bastion of free press but we don't regulate video games and don't have the level of censorship as Saudi Arabia Like how they block porn sites and VOIPs..etc
Final Fantasy XVI PS5 version are sold in retail store here and they have setup pre-orders for Dragon age so I assume EA kinda clicked on check all checkbox for MENA and not banned by the government.
