Well, the idea is that if you heal a char at 100% HP - his HP will increase above initial max value for the duration of the combat, so it is a buff of sorts in this scenario. Does it make sense?

    I guess it is similar.

Meanwhile, we have a new character ready: thinking about where to have a snack in Ursus? Go to Teek. This well-fed shorty cooks well, that's why his inn is considered the best in the capital.

But be careful: there's a rumor that this dear man not only buys and sells the stolen goods, but will also bring the robbers to you if there is an opportunity to earn several gold coins.

He looks like Danny DeVito's younger brother.

He might, but I shall deny and similarity.

Wait, do you mean Miltiades the Elder, tyrant of the Thracian Chersonese, or Miltiades the Younger, hero of the Battle of Marathon?

A sneak peek to team managment UI window, as it was promised. Hero's stats, abilities, level ups and also a little bio — you can find everything here. What do you say?

Working on card's design and its abilities. Little by little we will show you everything. Those cards on the picture are simple but useful cards of restoring health (red) and energy (orange). It would be nice to hear your thoughts, please share via comments.

This wily innkeeper looks even more sly after animation magic from Viktor. Unfortunately, all magic was used for the eyes because someone stole Teek's hair. C'est la vie!

How to save a valuable character if he's almost dead? Use redirection ability, and every strike from an enemy will lower energy instead of health. Also, your character will get a decent bonus to his attack. What do you say?

Traveling at night is dangerous even for a big party so it is better to stop overnight. You can sit near the campfire, talk to your companions and get some rest before the new trek.

What do you think about fire's animation? Is it good enough to watch forever, as the saying goes?

seems too bright for a night. I dunmo, maybe it is what you wanna achieve, but making it darker, giving it more orange/black contrast probably look better.

Unless it is not a night

Yeah, it is still work in progress, we would like to add shadows and light flickering to the whole scene, as well as some charcater animations, but it's always a question of time/resources. Thank you for your feedback, though.

Well, it's because he's name is Tic and he got one? No, really, it is a bit off, you're not the first one to mention it, we will work on it, thank you.

Do you want to meet a nasty character? I got some.

Count Pelko Soturi. Fat and poisonous snake. Moody and vindictive noble. His favorite pastime are executions and torture. And he has enough power to entertain himself with this as often as possible.

If you want to describe it one word, then he's a real monster. Unfortunately, the capacious word 'asshole' is not encouraged in the fantasy setting.

Another useful ability: exchange HP and MP. Another chance for a character with low health.

Our awesome artist created 96 different ability icons. I personally think they are really cool. What do you think?

Looks cool. If i had more time i would try to interpret everything there. I am too lazy atm lol.

Anyway they look good, and functional. Look at a glance to some of them, you can guess what they are for without description. Thats functional, therefore good ui design
