Atmospheric games (platformers mostly); like Limbo

I love the vibe of it, brutalist ruins are cool to explore. Really reminds me of the manga BLAME!, same aesthetic. Sadly the gameplay is more frustrating than fun.

The Citadel was largely inspired by BLAME! and it is very fun:

There's also Exo One, which is an atmospheric marble madness / gliding simulator game across beautiful and striking alien worlds. It has a time-limited demo if you wanna try before you buy (search for exo one prologue)

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy

Even it some may disagree on the 'atmospheric' part, at least it's a good platformer.

Knytt is for me the very definition of the atmospheric and comfy game, with a sprawling game world that will delight explorefags. I can't begin to remember how many times I've played it over the years.

It is also free, or was, as its creator's website disappeared. You can now find it on the internet archive.
Very worth a few hours of your time. It also has several hard-to-find secrets including a large, beautiful and challenging secret level. Feel free to contact me if you need some hints, you used to find these info online but so many places have closed.

I think The Pedestrian qualifies, too.

And maybe Gorogoa, but it isn't a platformer, it's a puzzle game.

I liked both of them, and they are indeed atmospheric without cutscenes or wall of texts. Neither of them are nongamey easy, if you want chill.

Nope. I had been disappointed with the direction taken by Knytt Stories (and discovered it too late to take part in its once active modding scene), and since the visuals in Knytt Underground did not appealed that much to me I've never tried it.

I played his older stuff ages ago, so they're not fresh in my head, but I remember that special "something" that all of his games had.
